What are you assembling today? At the Meyer Werft Dockhalle in Germany, they’re putting together massive ships, a job they’ve been excelling at since 1795.
For the last six generations, this massive assembly service has been owned and run by the Meyer Family. Headquartered in Papenburg at the River Ems, the Meyer Werft Dockhalle has constructed over 700 different types of ships over the last couple of centuries. Today it builds luxury passenger ships for customers all over the world. One of its docking halls is actually the largest shipbuilding hall in existence.
If you want to take a look at what’s happening in its docking halls right now, they even have a live webcam that you can access from anywhere in the world. Not feeling that patient? Watch the undocking of one of the massive vessels they assemble here in this quick video:
At Ohio Valley Goodwill, we know that not every assembly job is going to be this epic in size, but we believe in treating it like it’s just as impactful as launching a ship. That’s because every assembly job we do has a huge impact not only on the bottom line of businesses like yours but also on the communities we serve. So if you have a job that needs assembling services, come speak with us!
